I must say the past few months I have been buying nail polish left, right and center.

I’m in love with polish. The worst thing is I can’t wear it to work which is most of my week.

Holiday Time are Here and Making Me Poor

My god! I have been gone for a while and not making post. I feel so bad. I was in a lil’ bit of a rut for a while. Not feeling good about myself and life. But I’m okay now. Though now it is Christmas time and I am spending all my money on people and have no money for makeup and such. Heartbreaking! Its okay though because I love buying gifts for people. I get very picky trying to get thing I know they will like. It gets stressful after a while.

Any-who. My plan after Xmas is over is to get some Urban Decay products to try. I’ve always been interested in Urban Decay and they don’t sell or ship there products to Canada. So I will be getting there items from Sephora.com and I really hope there as good as I think in my head they are. lol.

I haven’t even been watching guru videos on youtube lately. Only just found out that fafinettex3 was hacked and lost her videos. Its a shame. The girl seems to have a lot of haters. But seems nice enough to me. Some people just need to hate I suppose.

Either way. I have a Xmas dinner tonight with my fellow management staff from work. That should be really fun.

It has been a busy week. I’m so beat! Work was busy and a lot of people quit. I was shopping for Christmas and cleaning my house. It was a busy busy time. I really need to post a new review or two in the next few days.

Review – Annabelle Studio Pigment in “LOL”

This pigment is great. Its a bright sunny yellow color. It is highly concentrated so a little, little bit goes a long way.
The packaging is very good, a rubber nub on the inside of the lid keeps product inside the container. So there is pretty much no mess with this product.

This picture doesn’t show how bright this pigment really is.
These retail for about $8.50
They will last you forever. Great product.

Review – Wet n Wild Eye Makeup Remover

May I say. This is not a bad makeup remover. Its oil free and works. Though I do find its not the best for removing anything waterproof mascara or eyeliners. Which can be a pain. The site lists several pros for the product and I do agree with all of them…

Hypo-allergenic, ophthalmologist tested
Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearer
Leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed, never tight or dry
Comes in a convenient 3 oz. travel-size for you jet-setting divas

NOW…there is one thing with this, that the site does not mention. Its scent. Its smells like lemons. Now I actually really like the taste and smell of lemons so it doesn’t bother me. Though it may bother some, more so if your the type of person who thinks that the smell of lemons is for floor cleaners.

Now this product costs about $3.99 or so. Which isn’t bad for its size. Though I feel you can spend a few more dollars and get a better, larger bottle of remover.

Overall not a bad product.

PURSEBUZZ MAC Nail Polish Giveaway: My Halloween Entry

Pursebuzz is having a Mac nail polish giveaway! So I thought I would have a go at it.

I painted a base coat on N.Y.C. Glow in the Dark. Then I “cut the nail” on my thumb and middle finger with Green with Envy; then my index finger with Black Out. I painted the whole ring finger with Black Out and the whole pinkie with Green with Envy.

I then used several Art Deco nail art lacquers for the detailing. Black was used to draw the web and spider, as well as the bat and cat. Silver glitter was used to trace the broader of the cut on the index finger. White was used to make the webs on the ring finger and finally Red glitter was used to put detail on the thumb, middle and pinkie nail.

Then topped it all off with Rimmel “Faster” top coat.

Sadly my camera would not take a good picture of the nails when they were glowing in the dark.

Review – NYC Color Wheel MOSAIC FACE POWDER in Pink Cheek Glow

First may I say the price is very cheap for this item. Anywhere from $2.50 to $3.99 depending where you get it. The packaging is made fully of cheap plastic. The lid doesn’t screw or clip on in anyway. It just slides on, but manages to stay closed. I wouldn’t recommend carrying this in a purse or bag without some tape or rubber band.

The color is a very sheer pink with very, very light shimmer. Its build-able but takes a while due to what I feel is a poorly pigmented product. It also has a lot of fall out left in the container due to its chalky texture. Now it is oil-absorbing and fragrance free. Which is a plus. I feel that if you have oily skin and are just getting started in make up this would be a good product to try out. F0r something no more then $4.00 its not a horrible powder. (which you get 9 grams of may I add) I will say, if your starting off it will be nice to try. Though sooner or later I would branch out and try other brands

On another note. For those of you who like depotting shadows and powders. There is a hole at the bottom of the packaging to push a pin to get the pan out.

First Time French Tips

Hello lovely people.

I Love, love L.A. Colors nail polish. I think there great. They have a nice brush and come in interesting colors.

I wanted to do something simple. So I did french tips for the first time the other day.

They look alright for my first time. If I do say so myself.

I used Revlons Gel Nail Hardener as my base coat. Which I plan on doing a review on at a later time. After I have used it for a little while. I used two L.A. Colors nail polishes from the Color Craze collection. In Mega Watt (very nude color with very underlying shimmer) and Energy Source (white) for the french nail itself. Then used Nailenes Top Coat, which is actually alright for a fairly cheap top coat.

I did used those stickers that you stick to your nail to create the smile of the tip. I know Nailene and Sally Hansen both make them. They were useful, even more so since I never did it before. I do think however learning to put the smile on by yourself looks even cleaner and better once you get use to it.
